MY REVIEW
EVIE HARPER wrote a
heart-wrenching book with a unique plot and lovable characters. It was not a
typical love story where the hero and the heroine bumped into each other and
fell in love.
YOU Loved me at my DARKEST is definitely one of
the best dark romance novel of all time. And this kind of plot is a new
read to me. I am impressed by Miss Evie's writing
prowess; I didn't stop flipping the pages until all the questions in my head
are answered.
The impact it had on me was so strong that it took me hours to
process everything that just happened. It's too much to handle I cried buckets.
I also adore Lily's strength for
surpassing the hellish days of her life. If it happened to me, I wouldn’t survive
a day. I loved her for being so courageous, but there's a part of the book
where I blamed her for what happened. Anyhow, she did it because she wanted
'her' to survive.
LOVE SCENES
Love
scenes will always be my favorite part of every book. (Don't judge me. lol) Be
it in graphic or not. I know that this is the part where writers are most
challenged to write, and I don't see any problem with that with Miss
Evie. It reached my expectations. She wrote it like I, myself is making
love with Jake. #steamyhotsex

times like this, I find it hard to breathe when I realise what kind of man Jake
is. The most loving, caring, protective man alive. Something so amazing and
beautiful spurned from evil, and I'm thankful for it everyday." ~LILY
Jake.
Jake. Jake. I am irrevocably in love with this man. A man of his
word. A man who will no doubt protect you with his very own life. I
love him more for that.

If you
want to read something deep, dark and different from your usual read; I highly
recommend this book to you.
You will
love the plot as much as I loved it. And you'll love the characters as much as
I did.
